Croatia has much to offer the property purchaser - great climate and wonderful beaches, large variety of landscapes, a choice of cities, towns and villages, child friendly environment/welcoming people and a low cost of living. Its popularity is growing year on year with investors and individuals alike taking advantage of the inexpensive properties available.

Ease of access from the rest of Europe, the clear waters of the Adriatic and an ever-improving infrastructure makes Croatia worthy of consideration by property investors. Croatia is an official EU candidate country since 2004 and opened formal accession talks the following year, with a view to full membership of the European fold by 2010. This is a result of the impressive progress made by the country as an independent state, and will help promote the long-term prosperity of the country.

"Just to say a huge thank you to you both for organising the travel and accommodation, car etc. for our lovely week in Istria. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and especially appreciated exploring a different part of the world! A shame about the weather at the back end of the week - but we couldn't begrudge you guys some rain - you may not see any more for a long time to come !! We thought the whole place quite delightful, and explored endless little villages perched on top of hills all over. And even though it was raining stair rods, the drive up and over mount Ucka behind Opatija, was breathtaking, and well worth a trip on a clear day. And the sea was so spectacularly clear, we will definitely be back with our snorkels!! David and Samantha were the perfect hosts - the trip to Umag and Porec, much appreciated, including all the information about Croatia/Istria en route. Thank you both, for giving us this fantastic opportunity. With kindest regards Debbie " -- Debbie, UK
